Our Financial Journey

Building bridges between complex finance and everyday understanding since 2019

Knowlyvorica started when our founder realized something was fundamentally broken in how financial education was being delivered. After spending years in traditional banking, watching countless clients struggle with basic financial concepts that seemed obvious to industry insiders, we knew there had to be a better way.

What began as weekend workshops in Belfast community centers has grown into a comprehensive financial education platform. But here's what hasn't changed — our belief that everyone deserves to understand money without needing a finance degree to decode the jargon.

We've helped over 2,800 individuals and 150 businesses across the UK develop genuine financial confidence. Not through complicated theories, but through practical, real-world applications that actually make sense in daily life.

Our Mission

We exist to democratize financial education by breaking down complex concepts into digestible, actionable knowledge. Every course, every workshop, every interaction is designed around one simple question: "Will this actually help someone make better financial decisions tomorrow?"

Our approach isn't about creating financial experts — it's about empowering people to navigate their financial lives with confidence and clarity. Whether you're managing household budgets or running a business, the fundamentals remain surprisingly consistent.

Our Vision

We envision a UK where financial literacy isn't a privilege reserved for those who can afford expensive advisors. Instead, it's a fundamental skill that's accessible, understandable, and immediately applicable to real life.

By 2027, we aim to have directly impacted 10,000 individuals through our programs, with ripple effects reaching their families, businesses, and communities. Financial stress shouldn't be the norm — financial confidence should be.

Meet Our Leadership

The people behind Knowlyvorica bring together decades of real-world financial experience with a genuine passion for teaching. We're not just educators — we're practitioners who understand both the theory and the messy reality of financial decision-making.

David Richardson, Founder and Chief Financial Educator at Knowlyvorica

David Richardson

Founder & Chief Financial Educator

David spent 12 years in commercial banking before founding Knowlyvorica. His frustration with traditional financial education methods led him to develop our signature approach: teaching finance through real scenarios rather than abstract theories.

He holds a First Class Honours in Economics from Queen's University Belfast and is a chartered member of the Institute of Financial Services. But more importantly, he's taught his own teenage daughters how to budget, invest, and think critically about money — skills that inspired many of our youth-focused programs.

When he's not developing new courses, you'll find David volunteering with local financial literacy programs or testing new teaching methods with small business groups across Northern Ireland.

What Drives Us Forward

Practical First

Every concept we teach must have immediate, real-world application. If it doesn't help you make better decisions next week, we don't teach it.

Jargon-Free Learning

Financial concepts are complex enough without unnecessary terminology. We explain everything in plain English that actually makes sense.

Individual Focused

Your financial situation is unique. Our programs adapt to your specific circumstances, goals, and challenges rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions.

Long-term Thinking

Quick fixes don't work in finance. We focus on building sustainable habits and decision-making frameworks that serve you for decades.
